The full itinerary for the 2016 Rio 3 Peaks Challenge will be finalised ad confirmed nearer the time. The following is the latest draft itinerary which is subject to change although start and finish dates will not be altered in order to enable participants to plan with certainty.

Friday 18th November/Saturday 19th November:
Fly to Rio  de Janeiro and check into our accommodation.

Sunday 20th November:
Take the morning settling in and getting to  know your surroundings. Maybe take a pleasant stroll along the beach or stop for a coffee and one of the many local cafes.
Later, you will be formally welcomed to Rio at a ‘carbo-loading’ reception before taking an early night ready for the Challenge itself.

Monday 21st November:
Following an early start you will be transported to the foot of  Pedra da Gavea ready to start the Rio 3 Peaks Challenge at 7a.m. You will then be transported to Dois Irmaos, the second peak, before hitting Corcovado and the climb to finish at the feet of Christ the Redeemer.
The evening will then be sent celebrating and relaxing at a traditional Brazilian Churrasco restaurant.

Tuesday 22nd November:
Spend the day visiting projects supported by Street  Child World Cup, hearing the stories of those who have benefited and, if you’re up for it, joining in with some football or other activity with the youngsters.

Wednesdsay 23rd November:
A well earned day of sight seeing before heading to airport and the trip home.
